What do I need to reserve a scooter, vespa or car?
All you need will be a passport or ID card, a credit card to make the security deposit that varies depending on the model you choose,a good driving record, anda valid driver’s license. In Italy, it is possible to drive scooters up to 125cc with a normal European car driver’s license. For those who reside outside the European Community, we recommend obtaining an international driver’s license. A motorcycle license is required for vehicles over 125 Cc.
Is there a security deposit required?
No, we do not require any security deposit. At Amalfi Coast Rent, we trust our guests and aim to make your rental experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
What is included in the rental price?
Your rental includes a brand-new automatic scooter or Vespa, or a car depending on your preference, delivered with a full tank of fuel, two helmets (for scooters), a phone charging cable, and a safety chain—everything you need for a safe and memorable adventure on the Amalfi Coast!
Do i need to fill the tank with petrol?
Yes, you must refill the tank to the same level as it was at the pick-up. Any difference in the gasoline level will be charged according to the terms and conditions
How does the online booking process work?
Booking your vehicle online is simple and fully digital. Just select your preferred scooter, Vespa, or car from our fleet, fill out the required information in the product form, and submit your booking. No immediate payment is needed. You'll pay at the rental desk upon pickup.
Do I need to pay in advance when I book online?
No.All bookings are book now, pay later.
You’ll pay directly at our rental desk when you collect your vehicle.
What happens after I place a booking?
You’ll receive aconfirmation emailright away, confirming that we’ve received your booking and documents.
Then, a member of our team will contact you by phone or WhatsAppto finalize the pickup details and answer any questions you may have.
Is my booking instantly confirmed?
No, bookings are manually reviewed by our staff to verify availability and details. Once reviewed, we’ll contact you directly to confirm everything.
Why do you ask for my driving license and ID in advance?
Uploading your documents during the booking allows us to pre-check your eligibility, prepare the vehicle in advance, and speed up the pickup process. It’s part of ouro nline check-in system for a smoother experience.
Can I modify my booking after submitting it?
Yes! Just contact us by email or WhatsApp after you’ve booked.
We’ll gladly help you adjust times, vehicle type, or pickup location, depending on availability.
Is my data safe when I upload documents?
Absolutely. All information is handled securely and in full compliance with the EU GDPR. Your documents are used solely for the purpose of managing your rental and will not be shared with third parties.
What if I have trouble uploading my documents?
