Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through [www.amalficoastrent.it] (“the Site”), managed by Amalfi Coast Rent, a registered brand of VANTO S.R.L.

By submitting a booking request, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

1. Booking Confirmation

All booking requests made through the Site are non-binding until confirmed by our team via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
Once confirmed, your reservation will be considered active and subject to this policy.

2. Free Cancellation Period

You may cancel your confirmed booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

3. Late Cancellations

If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled pickup, Amalfi Coast Rent reserves the right to apply a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the rental value, especially during high season or limited availability periods.

4. No-Shows

If you fail to show up at the agreed time and location without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and the full amount of the rental may be charged.

5. Refunds

As payment is made in person and no prepayment is required online, no refund is necessary unless a deposit was voluntarily paid in advance by arrangement.

In such cases:

  • Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance
  • Partial refund (50%) if cancelled less than 48 hours before pickup
  • No refund in case of no-show

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed via the original payment method within 7 working days.

6. Modifications to Booking

We understand that travel plans may change. You can request changes to your reservation (dates, times, vehicle category) subject to:

  • Availability
  • At least 24 hours’ notice

We will do our best to accommodate any changes without penalties.

7. Force Majeure

Amalfi Coast Rent is not liable for cancellations caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, severe weather, government restrictions). In such cases, we will offer:

  • Full refund, or
  • Free rebooking, depending on availability
